Stanely Sohn

Dr. Stanley Sohn
Veterinarian

A native of Milton, Massachusetts, Dr. Stanley Sohn always had an interest in caring for animals.  As a young child, he would take in injured animals and help them before releasing them back into their natural environment.  During his school years he volunteered at the Trailside Museum.  After graduating from high school he attended Purdue University where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1973.  After graduation he returned to Massachusetts to work for both Dr. Lloyd’s Animal Hospital in Stoughton and Lombard Animal Hospital in Newton.  In 1975 he opened the Mansfield Animal  Hospital.

Along with his wife Linda, he has been breeding, raising, and showing champion Papillon dogs.  His dogs have won many top awards in the United States, Mexico and Europe, including winning Best of Breed at the Westminster Kennel Club on five different occasions.

Julie

Julie
Veterinary Technician

I graduated from Barry University in Florida with a B. S. in Biology/Minor in Chemistry. I started here as a volunteer in high school and have worked my way up to a full-time veterinary technician.

I have been a full-time member of Mansfield Hospital since 2001. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my cat, Chessie, and training my two dogs, Logan and Clara, in flyball, tracking, obedience, and agility.

Pam
Veterinary Technician

Graduated from Becker College in '04 with a B.S. in Veterinary Science. Pam worked full-time at an emergency hospital for two years during and after college, and part-time at a general practice.

I have worked for Mansfield Animal Hospital for over two years. In my spare time, I run agility with my dog, Mona.

I have enjoyed 4 years as a part-time receptionist here. I have rescued numerous kittens throughout the years and rehabilitated others. I have also provided a comfortable home for an elderly dog.

In my spare time, I moonlight as a graphic artist and I am currently working on a children's book due to be released Christmas 2009.
